Rated Maximum Load and Towing Capacity are provided for a
vehicle working on firm, dry, flat surfaces and will be considerably
less in extreme conditions of unstable ground and gradient, and
surfaces with a high rolling resistance.
Exceeding the Rough Terrain
load and towing capacity, will increase the chance of vehicle
roll over on uneven and sloping ground.
**
Maximum operating slope is provided for an unloaded vehicle,
being driven under close control on firm, dry and even sloping
ground conditions. The
safe operating slope will be considerably less with wet, slippery,
unstable and uneven slope surfaces, or with a loaded vehicle or a
vehicle towing a load or a vehicle being driven at speed.
Your Safety is Important, roll over accidents can cause
serious injury, always follow safe operating procedures.
***
Wading depths are rated for calm inland enclosed waters, such
as small streams and flooded areas with firm and even underwater
ground conditions. Wading
depths will be considerably less in flowing or rough waters and with
soft or uneven underwater ground conditions.
Wet Hull Depth
assumes water is allowed to enter the hull via the rear drain plugs,
and the water level has equalized inside and outside the hull,
reducing the vehicle buoyancy. In an unloaded vehicle, buoyancy may cause traction to be
lost between the vehicle wheels and the underwater surface.
This vehicle will not float, wading beyond the recommended
depth may cause vehicle failure and drowning.
****
At ambient temperatures below -10ΊC / 14ΊF
the tractor will require additional preparation, including an
engine bay heater.
